SQMC COMMITMENT
Soquimich Comercial S.A.and its subsidiaries (SQMC or the Business) has, during the last few years, experimented an important evolution and conducted business development that maintains a firm commitment to operational excellence in all aspects that serve as a cornerstone in the SQMC strategy.
As a result, management excellence is assured including the demand for loyal and ethical conduct from each of the Directors, Workers, Clients and Providers at SQMC.
This document seeks to provide a guide for the awareness and adhesion to the business values at SQMC and to become one of pillars upon which the future will be built.
Ethical behavior is an obligation. The fulfillment of this duty will generate a reputation of integrity, responsible conduct, improve commercial performance and fortify one of the greatest assets SQMC has - its clients and their confidence in the company.
This document contains the Code of Ethics, Corporative Policies and the Policy of Crime Prevention, Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and Bribery as stipulated in Ley N°20.393, and have been established to collaborate with the achievement of the ethical value of the Business.

CODE OF ETHICS
The following Code of Ethics as well as all the policies contained herein will be applied by SQMC S.A. and all of its subsidiaries, hereafter referred to as SQMC, or the Business. This Code includes Human Resources, Prosecutors and Auditing conducted for SQMC by SQM S.A. and its subsidiaries (now referred to as SQM), in reference to its policies, and the responsibilities of the VP of Personnel and Sustainability of SQM, SQM Prosecuting agents, Risk Management and SQM Corporative Control.
This Code delivers policies, directives and principals that serve as a guide for the actions of the SQMC Directors and Workers who are obligated to act in conformity with that established in the Code.
SQMC is committed to follow the laws, norms and rules of the countries in which it conducts its activities and business. SQMC understands that traditions and customs can exist that vary from place to place, and those, however, will not cause the company to divert from its decision to act with the highest standards of integrity and honesty.
Integrity and ethics have always been a significant component in the way SQMC does business. Acting with a high degree of integrity is crucial in order to maintain the confidence and credibility of the Stockholders, Directors, Workers, Clients, Providers, Government Organizations, Supervisor Entities, Communities, Interest Groups and other persons, institutions and all type of organizations related with the business. All the Executive Directors and Employees at SQMC should:
- • Promote and maintain an environment of transparency in the activities that concern them in accordance with their role and level of responsibility.
- Maintain work and administrative relations based on ethics and integrity.
- Foment and demand that all the Directors and Workers at SQMC honorably comply with their duties.
- Promote and respect the laws, norms and pertinent rules.
- Work with dedication, perfection, rectitude, probity and being consequent with the values and policies at SQMC.
SQMC will not tolerate acts derogating from the norms of ethical legitimacy and whose breach, might cause damage to its stockholders, workers and other pertinent persons or the community in general.
